Saris 1

We are pleased to present you the geodesic dome “SARIS 1- Geodesic” designed especially for the Bulgarian company “Saris Extensions” – (leading company in the production of technological glass products). The dome is designed with birch plywood construction to be covered entirely with triple glazing with a thickness of 51 mm. During the design itself, the idea of easy assembly was followed, and so it came to devising a system where it would not be possible to mix up the parts during assembly. Each part is labelled at both ends with what other part it is to be connected to, and colour coded for added ease. The dome is quick and easy to assemble even by people with poor technical skills. The possibility to install glazing on the entire surface of the dome makes it possible to achieve its extremely elegant appearance as well as the great quality thermal and hydro insulation. The “beds” in which the glazing is intended to be placed make it easy to place other types of panels (polycarbonate, OSB, plywood) cut in advance according to the intended dimensions.
